With Florida state issuing a thirty day ‘Stay Home’ order earlier this week, the future of Raw, NXT and SmackDown shows is rather unclear.
With the Raw after WrestleMania show on April 6th and the April 8th episode of NXT have both been taped, all future episodes of WWE TV have not been filmed. As such, WWE is reportedly considering taking a break.
Rumors around the PC last week were that if the state of FL issued a Stay Home order, which happened today, WWE would reconsider taking a break post Mania. The RAW after is shot. I’ve been told if they are pausing for a while, some footage shot won’t be aired. TBD at this point.

However, they may not need to take a break, as Ringside News, who have had a good track record of backstage scoops in recent weeks, are reporting that WWE could be granted an ‘exemption’, allowing them to film.
All news crews have been allowed to continue to film their respective shows, so WWE may be given the same treatment by the appropriate authorities.
For what it’s worth, I hope WWE takes a break and does not continue to film shows. While they may be given permission, it is clear that their workers aren’t safe. WWE has an enormous archive of old shows and matches that they could show instead.
