Being The Elite has been one of the most important projects for the growth of independent wrestling. Nick and Matt Jackson helped show how successful independent wrestlers can be and now, they are celebrating their 200th episode.
The whole episode was dedicated to a match between the Young Bucks. The match was a falls count anywhere match and was about as ridiculous as you would expect. Things were pretty tame before the brothers were driving a golf cart and hitting a Canadian Destroyer into a pool.
The match also featured a number of references to moments from their careers. The most notable one was near the finish when Matt put on a thumbtack covered shoe and superkicked Nick. This was a reference to when the Young Bucks faced Joey Ryan and Candice LeRae in PWG and Matt did the same move to Candice. If you haven’t seen that match, it is pretty wild.
After the thumbtack-covered shoe, Matt hit an elbow drop off their deck for the win.
They played a montage of greatest BTE moments but closed by saying there was one thing they have left to do. This is heavily implying a match with the recently released Revival.
