AEW has announced a change to a match for this coming Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite after suspending Sammy Guevara earlier today.
Guevara was suspended without pay and will undertake extensive sensitivity training after podcast footage emerged from 2016 of him saying he wanted to ‘rape Sasha Banks’.
Both Guevara and Banks have issued statements regarding the matter on Twitter.
Guevara was scheduled to face Matt Hardy on Wednesday’s Dynamite, but the promotion has announced that Hardy will now face Guevara’s fellow Inner Circle member Santana instead.
AEW is actually holding a poll on Twitter which seemingly will determine which version of Matt Hardy Santana will be facing – ‘Broken’, ‘Unkillable’, or ‘Old School’.
