A former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has confirmed he’s one of several people in the company to have tested positive for COVID-19 over the last few days.
Backstage producer Jamie Noble confirmed he tested positive on his Instagram, writing:
“Not how we expect this month to go! Covid-19 has hit home. Prayers for me and my family will be greatly appreciated!”
The previous WWE names who have publicly confirmed they’ve tested positive are Renee Young, Adam Pearce and Kayla Braxton, the latter of whom tested positive for the second time. An extra who appeared on a recent show also said he received a positive result after being tested by WWE.
There’s been no word as of this writing that today’s SmackDown tapings for tonight’s episode are set to be cancelled, but it looks like a huge match and more may have been pulled from the show.
Everyone at WrestleTalk.com sends our best wishes to Noble and everyone else affected by the virus.
