New two-time Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt has delivered a message to former champion Goldberg after regaining the strap at SummerSlam.
Wyatt’s first Universal Title run was ended in February this year by Goldberg, who held the title for about a month before dropping it to Braun Strowman at WrestleMania.
It’s been reported since then that the plan was for Wyatt to win the lose to Roman Reigns at ‘Mania, but Goldberg refused to lose to him at Super ShowDown.
Nonetheless, Wyatt has taken to Twitter with a message for Goldberg.
The tweet reads:
Dearest @Goldberg,
Don’t worry old friend we fixed it.
Don’t listen to what they say, you and I know they’re wrong.
I forgive you!
But please, if you see the red walk away from it.
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defends the title in a three-way against Strowman and Reigns this Sunday at Payback. Let us know what you make of Wyatt’s tweet in the comments.
