Last week on AEW: Dynamite, Brodie Lee dropped the TNT Championship back to Cody following a brutal Dog Collar match that commentary put over as the main event of the show, despite the fact it didn’t go on last.
Despite dropping the title straight back to Cody, WrestleTalk’s Louis Dangoor is exclusively reporting that people within AEW, both management and in-ring talent, have been impressed by Brodie’s work over the last few months.
Sources have told us that many within AEW are incredibly impressed with how far Brodie Lee has taken The Dark Order since joining the group in March. One source told us that he’s “working so hard to make Dark Order mean something… he’s always working to make Dark Order better”.
While Evil Uno, Stu Grayson and in particular John Silver have been doing some great work on Being The Elite to help put the group over, many have credited the faction’s leader as being the key figure behind the recent success of the group.
Prior to Brodie Lee taking over the group, Dark Order was one of the most universally disliked things about AEW, with the group failing to get over with the crowd despite several attempts. However, this seemed to change when Brodie took control and people within AEW have noticed this.
