The viewership numbers for the October 16 ‘season premiere’ episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX have officially been revealed.
As per Showbuzz Daily, the show drew an average of 2.124 million viewers, which is up from the reported overnight figure of 1.987 million.
However, it’s actually a decrease from the prior week, which was the WWE Draft episode, which drew 2.178 million viewers.
In the important 18-49 demographic, the show drew a 0.6, which is the same as the last few weeks.
Advertised prior to the show were Street Profits defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, New Day’s farewell match against Sheamus, Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura, as well as Roman Reigns defending the Universal Title against Braun Strowman.
