Sean Ross Sapp is reporting on Fightful Select (subscription required and highly recommended), that Big E is going to be announced as the final member of Team SmackDown on tonight’s show ahead of Survivor Series.
The site is reporting that Big E was going to win a qualifying match on last week’s show, but the match was cut due to timing issues. Despite being announced two days before the PPVs, Fightful is reporting that this has always been the plan.
The SmackDown Women’s team currently only boasts Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott. At this time, it is unclear which two other women are going to make up the team. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for any potential updates.
We are going to have live coverage of both Friday Night SmackDown on FOX tonight and WWE Survivor Series this coming Sunday. Make sure you check back here for our thoughts and reactions to the show’s happenings.
