This weekend, Bayley was the first woman eliminated from the Raw vs. SmackDown match. This was rather surprising considering Bayley has been one of the most protected female wrestlers in recent memory.
Some speculated that Bayley was eliminated first from the match due to injury. This came after she hit a suplex on Peyton Royce from the top rope to the outside, but no one was able to catch her.
However, PWInsider is reporting that this was always the plan, and Bayley’s elimination from the Survivor Series women’s match was not brought forward due to injury. Here’s exactly what the report noted:
