It’s being reported that the scenes backstage at last night’s SmackDown TV were a “mess”, which is becoming of a habit for WWE nowadays.
WWE didn’t announce anything for SmackDown until 10 minutes before the start of the show.
F4WOnline is reporting that things were a “mess”, and as you might imagine, the reason nothing was announced is because no-one knew what was happening.
The matches that were announced were Otis vs King Corbin, Daniel Bryan vs Sami Zayn, and the Street Profits vs Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. The first of those didn’t even happen.
The report noted that McMahon had arrived at the ThunderDome at 12:30pm, and it was said that no-one knew anything until he arrived.
