The possible reason that a popular star wasn’t included in the most recent WWE Performance Center new signings announcement has come to light.
IMPACT Wrestling trio the Rascalz – Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz – all left the promotion last month and it looked likely they’d be signing with WWE.
Earlier this week, WWE confirmed that Xavier and Wentz had signed, but Miguel was notable by his absence.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that a possible reason for this is because Miguel had been considering offers from both WWE and AEW.
A lot could have happened since then, so speculation beyond this point is a bit pointless, but it explains why Miguel didn’t sign at the same time as the other two.
Xavier and Wentz were actually originally the Rascalz as a tag team before Miguel joined up with them at a later point.
