After making his debut on this past week’s episode, AEW has taken to social media to confirm a Sting segment for the December 9 Dynamite.
As confirmed on Twitter, Sting will be interviewed by Tony Schiavone on the show.
Sting made his debut by staring down Arn Anderson, Cody Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes and Darby Allin individually after they’d been attacked by Team Taz.
It’s been reported that plans are for the ‘Icon’ to be used as a regular character on Dynamite rather than someone who’ll make appearances sparingly. He’s signed a full-time multi-year contract.
WrestleTalk.com exclusively reported that Sting was unhappy with how he was treated by WWE throughout his time under contract with the company and joined AEW to do something good for the fans.
Also announced for Dynamite are:
- MJF vs. Orange Cassidy – Dynamite Diamond Ring
- Inner Circle ‘Ultimatum’
- Lance Archer & Lucha Bros vs. Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade
- Young Bucks vs. The Hybrid2
- FTR vs. Varsity Blondes
- Dustin Rhodes vs. Pres10 Vance
- Abadon in action
