NXT TakeOver: WarGames was a pretty enjoyable show. However, while us normal people can enjoy it from our comfy seats, those involved were not so lucky. Sure enough, a couple of injuries are being reported from tonight’s show.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reported that Oney Lorcan suffered lacerations to his face during the closing moments of tonight’s main event. Thankfully, this likely means he won’t miss extended time.
The other reported injury was to Candice LeRae. Fightful reported that she suffered an arm injury, thought to be a possible broken arm or wrist. Triple H confirmed the report on the NXT TakeOver: WarGames media call but could also not confirm what the exact injury was. During the call, she was getting x-rayed backstage.
Triple H says everyone has bumps and bruises. Candice LeRae is getting looked at backstage. Says she possibly has a broken arm.

LeRae’s team was able to get the win tonight inside WarGames. LeRae, Toni Storm, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez were able to outlast Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai when Shirai was powerbombed through a ladder.
Lorcan, on the other hand, was not so lucky. The faction led by Pat McAfee fell to the Undisputed Era in the main event. As the Undisputed Era hit a parade of finishers, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish hit the High Low on Lorcan and O’Reilly dropped a knee into a chair on top of his face for the win. This could be where he was lacerated.
