IMPACT Wrestling promised Hard to Kill would be a night full of surprises. Many fans were hoping this would mean seeing some potential AEW guys show up on the show.
Well, IMPACT delivered someone who recently appeared in AEW and WWE. Matt Cardona debuted tonight on Hard to Kill.
Cardona was announced as a surprise opponent for Ace Austin. Cardona got the win after Madman Fulton interfered in the match.

Austin was upset he was not on the card. He demanded to be put into the X-Division Championship match, but Scott D’Amore had different plans.
He announced Cardona. The match only lasted a few minutes and the commentary team did not clarify if this was a one-time thing or if we could see Cardona regularly.
