Reports emerged earlier on this week suggesting that SmackDown star Cesaro’s contract with WWE is set to expire after April’s big WrestleMania event, and we now have a major update on the matter.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Cesaro has either agreed to sign a new deal, or has actually put pen to paper and signed a new contract with the company:
There have been reports going around regarding the status of Cesaro. Either he signed or verbally agreed to a new deal a few weeks ago.
This is obviously massive news for WWE. Cesaro would be a great asset to any company that he works for, so higher-ups will be pleased to have the former United States Champion locked into a contract.
