WWE is approaching nearly a full calendar year since they were able to welcome fans to a main roster show, but we now know that both nights of WrestleMania 37 in April at Raymond James Stadium will have fans in attendance.
Reliable Twitter source WrestleVotes is reporting that the reason WWE hasn’t put tickets on sale for the marquee pay-per-view is that the company needs to make sure the event can run safely, given the ongoing worldwide pandemic.
The account is also reporting that WWE had representatives in Tampa Bay for the Super Bowl over the weekend, with the show also taking place at Raymond James Stadium and having fans in attendance:
Source says WWE had a few representatives around the Tampa Bay area for last weekend Super Bowl. They were gathering further information on how WWE can best pull off WrestleMania safety. Hence the delay on ticket sales. The event planning & details need to be as precise as ever.
Early reports have suggested that WWE is hoping to have between 25,000-30,000 fans in attendance for the show in April, but that number could obviously change given the ongoing global pandemic.
