AEW have announced a huge 6-man tag match, set to take place this coming Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.
Eddie Kingston has his work cut out for him this coming Wednesday, when he’s set to take on three men he has a lot of history with.
AEW took to Twitter to announce that, at the request of Kingston, AEW General Manager Tony Khan has sanctioned a huge match. Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade will take on the trio of Lance Archer, Fenix and Jon Moxley.
Hinting at the bad blood between the competitors, AEW tweeted:
At the request of @MadKing1981,(Eddie Kingston) AEW GM @TonyKhan booked a huge match for the next #AEWDynamite LIVE on Wednesday night, Eddie Kingston, Butcher & Blade will battle a trio comprised of 3 of their most storied rivals in AEW: Lance Archer, Fenix, & @JonMoxley! Tickets on-sale now!
Kingston’s last in-ring encounter saw him pinned by Lance Archer in a Lumberjack match, so Kingston will want to settle the score. Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade were thorns in the side of Pac and Fenix towards the end of 2020, so Fenix will be seeking retribution on his former friend.
Moxley and Kingston faced each other in an AEW Championship I Quit match at Full Gear 2020. Kingston came up short, so will be wanting to even the score this Wednesday.
With Moxley and Archer’s recent loss to Kenny Omega and NJPW’s Kenta, both will be desperate to get the victory in order to move up the AEW Dynamite totem pole.
