Blake Christian lost a career vs. title match recently for Game Changer Wrestling, and it seems like we now know the reason why.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that Blake Christian has signed a contract with WWE, becoming just the latest independent wrestler to sign a deal with Vince McMahon’s promotion.
Blake Christian has worked for various independent promotions, but will probably be better known for his work with IMPACT Wrestling and NJPW, where he has worked the NJPW Strong tapings. Christian was not at IMPACT’s TV tapings this week.
The report does note that Fightful reached out to Blake Christian for comment on the matter, but did not hear back from him. We will update you if he does provide a comment on this report.
This comes after it was reported that WWE had also signed another standout independent star, which you can read more about by clicking here.
