While speaking to the media after last night’s WWE NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day show, Triple H revealed some rather promising news about potential injuries suffered to talent during the show.
Triple H revealed that, as far as he was aware, no one suffered injuries during the TakeOver show last year, which is actually somewhat rare for a big TakeOver show:
“I believe, barring something I’m unaware of at this point, I believe we are injury-free tonight. So, when you put on the level of performance that everybody did that’s an amazing statement as well.”
At TakeOver 31 in October, there were a whole host of injuries announced after the show, including Finn Balor suffering a broken jaw. There were also a host of injuries coming out of TakeOver: War Games in December 2020.
During the media call, Triple H also revealed that one of the big matches at TakeOver last night when just shy of ten minutes shorter than they were allocated, which you can read more about by clicking here.
