Update: AEW has announced that Big Show has signed with the promotion – you can read more about that at this link.
A huge star has been removed from the active WWE roster on WWE’s website and can now be found in the alumni section instead.
That star is huge both figuratively and literally because it’s Big Show, who hasn’t been featured full-time in WWE since 2017.
His last official match came on the July 20, 2020 episode of Raw in a loss to Randy Orton.
He’s appeared a few times since then in a non-wrestling capacity such as Undertaker’s farewell at Survivor Series.
Despite this, he was still listed on the current roster page until this week. This has been checked and verified via Wayback Machine which lets you view old versions of web pages.
WWE’s website isn’t kept up to date particularly well (Mustafa Ali is still listed on SmackDown, for example), and we have far better roster pages on our site at this link.
Some notable names that WWE.com still lists on the current roster are Brock Lesnar, David Otunga, Jason Jordan, Jerry Lawler, John Cena, JoJo, Jonathan Coachman, Kane, Rob Gronkowski, and Undertaker.
