An injured WWE star has spoken about his injury, confirming that he will not be receiving surgery for the foreseeable future.
Mustafa Ali has opened up a lot about wrestling with a torn PCL in recent weeks. After being attacked by Retribution at Fastlane 2021, it was reported that Ali would be taking time away from WWE to recover.
It was previously unclear whether Ali would be taking time away to have surgery, or just to rest his knee. Ali has cleared up confusion, stating that he will not receive surgery anytime soon.
Taking to Twitter to confirm he will not be going under the knife, Ali tweeted:
“To clear some confusion, I am not getting surgery in the foreseeable future. I’ll be okay. Thanks.”
Ali most recently wrestled during the Fastlane pre-show. After unsuccessfully challenging Matt Riddle for the US Championship, T-Bar and Mace attacked the former Retribution leader.
It isn’t currently known when Ali will return to the ring, although he has recently teased a Raw appearance for next week on his social media.
