Ricardo Rodriguez Celebrates One Year Of Sobriety

Former WWE star Ricardo Rodriguez took to Twitter today to open up about his history of alcohol abuse.

Rodriguez revealed that a year ago he checked himself into a rehab center to deal with the issues he was facing. He noted that his journey wasn’t easy but he is currently one year sober. Here is the tweet:

Ricardo Rodriguez made his WWE debut in 2010 as the special ring announcer of Alberto Del Rio. Their partnership lasted three years before they went their separate ways. Rodriguez joined the Spanish announce team afterward as well.

He was trained as a wrestler and worked sporadic matches for WWE, usually as a comedy character. He has continued to work matches since leaving WWE with his last match occurring in 2017.

From everyone at WrestleTalk, we would like to congratulate Ricardo Rodriguez on his achievement and wish him all the best going forward.
