WWE official Adam Pearce has now addressed a bizarre request involving himself and his on-screen assistant, Sonya Deville.
On Raw, Sonya Deville lifted Charlotte Flair’s suspension, allowing her to compete on the show. According to Pearce, a number of fans have been asking him to slap Deville following her decision.
Pearce took to Twitter with a video in response to these requests. Noting that he chooses not to resort to violence, he asked fans to stop calling for Sonya, or himself, to be slapped.
Acknowledging the odd claims, Pearce stated:
“Happy Tuesday to everybody. Thank you to everyone who has sent tweets and messages. I appreciate the interaction, but no, I have zero interest in slapping Sonya Deville. That’s not how I choose to lead or govern. Certainly someone in my position shouldn’t ever resort to violence. If you’re one of those people suggesting that I should be slapping Sonya or that she should be slapping me, stop.”

Deville also added Flair to the Raw Women’s Championship match set for WrestleMania Backlash. Flair and Asuka will challenge Rhea Ripley for the title in a three-way match.
On Raw Talk, Ripley discussed her future opponents, revealing that Flair is still mad about missing WrestleMania 37. A recent report discussed Ripley’s push, detailing WWE’s plans for The Nightmare.
