CM Punk has never been someone to be afraid to speak his mind. This remained the case today (May 25) as he threw a bit of shade at former rival, John Cena.
Punk took to Twitter to change his bio to “Taiwan is a country”. This comes after John Cena came under fire for apologizing to China for calling Taiwan a country during a recent interview.

Cena’s apology has been one of the talking points of Twitter today. Many have called him out because of the nature of China’s global political position and it has also been reported that his apology has not gone over well backstage in WWE. You can read more about that here.
CM Punk and John Cena had a lengthy rivalry during their time together in WWE. Their most famous match was their clash at Money in the Bank 2011 but they continued to feud on and off until 2013.
