It’s being reported that WWE has re-hired Shawn Daivari as a producer after he’d been released due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As per PWInsider, Daivari is present backstage at tonight’s SmackDown.
Since WWE will be holding house shows again, there has been a push backstage to bring back some of the producers that had been let go.
Daivari was actually at the NWA tapings last week as a producer too, so it seems like this was either on short notice, or he’d been given permission to do that.
The report adds that he always gets praised for putting matches together and knowing what needs to be done to get the story of the match over to fans.
Molly Holly was backstage at Raw recently too with the company thinking about bringing her in as a producer.
