On the topic of WWE SummerSlam, Stephanie McMahon guaranteed fans that a lot of surprises are planned for The Biggest Party of the Summer.
From the return of Brock Lesnar to John Cena wrestling for a World Title, many reports regarding SummerSlam have teased huge moments. According to McMahon, her in ring return will not be taking place this summer.
While speaking to Yahoo Finance, McMahon was asked whether she has any plans to wrestle in the near future. Recalling her WrestleMania 34 match, McMahon said:
“Ever since Ronda Rousey broke my arm, I have a little PTSD. I’m not sure you’re going to see me in the ring anytime soon, but I guarantee for SummerSlam, there is going to be a lot of surprises,”
McMahon teamed with Triple H to take on Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey in 2018. Rousey and Angle recently shared a photo with each other while they were filming a project together.
Andrew Zarian has reported that WWE sees their return to touring as an opportunity to change. John Cena and Brock Lesnar’s returns are reportedly not the only notable moments WWE has planned.
Numerous reports have stated that John Cena will return to WWE to face Roman Reigns in August. The Champ has confirmed that he plans to return to WWE, it’s only a matter of when.
