Roman Reigns has completely changed his character since The Shield had their last match in 2019. Now, he has no interest in another reunion.
Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Reigns was asked if he has any interest in getting back together with The Shield. In short, he said no. He also said where he is at now is a one-man show. Here is the quote, courtesy of Wrestling Inc.:
“No, I mean, I have a lot of respect for everything that we did now, but a lot of that time was really pivotal for me to learn and gain the experience, be around other performers and see how their processes is and how they attack things and how they think about things. Where I’m at now, it’s a one man show I have the family dynamic with my cousins, but at the same time, I call the shots. I don’t think I could share it anymore.”
Jon Moxley (FKA Dean Ambrose) left WWE in early 2019 to go to AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Without a WWE return, only Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins remain to represent The Shield in WWE.
