Domino’s Pizza has shared concerns with the placement of an advertisement during the July 28 AEW Fight for the Fallen show.
Chris Jericho and Nick Gage headlined the show with a violent No Rules match. During the bout, Gage sliced at Jericho’s forehead with a pizza cutter, before the feed cut to a Domino’s Pizza commercial.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to post about the coincidental timing of the commercial:

Domino’s Spokeswoman Jenny Fouracre-Petko told Front Office Sports that they were not informed of the violent AEW match prior to the show.
Fouracre-Petko stated that the brand would assess their advertising presence on AEW Dynamite going forward, noting:
“Domino’s was not involved, nor had any foreknowledge, of the gory scene on the ‘AEW Dynamite’ main event.
“We share the concerns expressed about this incident and the content of this TV-14 rated program, and are assessing our advertising presence on it going forward.”
It was previously reported that AEW President Tony Khan had spoken about the match with the TNT network before it took place.
This week’s show drew over 1 million viewers. You can read more about the viewership figures for AEW Fight for the Fallen here.
