It has been reported that IMPACT has shown interest in former WWE star Bray Wyatt, ahead of his non-compete clause expiring.
Dave Meltzer recently reported that Wyatt will most-likely join AEW after he officially becomes a free agent. Bryan Alvarez since noted that he had received messages from people within the company who hadn’t heard about any plans for the former Fiend.
Meltzer provided an update on his Bray Wyatt report on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast, stating that IMPACT officials were “really after” Wyatt, and want him to sign with the company. It is unclear if the interest goes both ways.
Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31. He currently has a 90 day non-compete clause, which is set to expire at the end of October. It is worth noting that he legally cannot begin negotiations right now because of his non-compete.
Several IMPACT personalities have recently hinted that other former WWE stars will join IMPACT soon.
