WWE’s Paige has again hinted at a possible in-ring return in her latest tweet.
Paige tweeted on September 7: “Can I still use ‘this is my house’ or is it taken?”. This tweet comes just days after she tweeted “I’m not done yet” on August 29.
These updates came after a July 30 tweet in which Paige wrote:
“You guys I’m getting stronger squatting 185lbs again. I know it’s not a ton but it’s a big accomplishment for me who was worried to do any gym stuff because of my neck. But my neck is feeling so awesome. I’m so proud of myself.”
On the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw on April 9, 2018, she officially retired from in-ring competition due to a neck injury suffered at a WWE live event following a kick from Sasha Banks.
There has been speculation about a return to action for Paige since Edge and Daniel Bryan (now Bryan Danielson) came back from similar injuries.
Paige has been in non-wrestling roles on television since retiring, including a stint as general manager of SmackDown.
Paige is the youngest ever WWE Divas champion, winning it at the age of 21, and she won the the title twice during her in-ring career.
