Interesting News On AAA Plans For FTR

With FTR recently winning the AAA Tag Team Championship, some news has emerged regarding them heading over to Mexico and their plans.

As per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, FTR will be at the tapings on November 4, but they’ll be bringing Vickie Guerrero with them instead of Tully Blanchard.

Meltzer also revealed a big match that is potentially in the works for December. He said:

“They’re gonna be going on the November 4 AAA tapings, and an interesting note is that Tully Blanchard will not be going, and their manager will be Vickie Guerrero. So she will be their manager in AAA.

“That’s the only date for sure, but I know that they are trying, the match that they want to get, and this is not a done deal – if this happens it would be December 4 in Monterrey for AAA Regia, which is the big show that Kenny Omega’s wrestling El Hijo del Vikingo, Cain Velasquez is wrestling in the main event – but the match they’re looking at would be Dragon Lee & Dralistico and Pentagon & Fenix as the challengers in a three-way against FTR for the AAA Tag Team Championship.”

It was made official last night that FTR will challenge the Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear on November 13.
