WWE rebranded their NXT brand into ‘NXT 2.0’ back in September, and began phasing out the old ‘indie’ group of talent for more younger, athletic background stars.
WWE Raw star Drake Maverick was a part of the NXT brand since he was rehired after his release last year, and had the opportunity to work with the new set of recruits.
Maverick took to Twitter earlier today to public put over a group of young NXT stars who he has had ‘pleasurable experiences’ with. He tweeted:
I’d just like to say publicly what pleasurable experiences I’ve had with @_trickwilliams @JuliusCreedWWE @Carmelo_WWE
Brutus Creed, Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen, @bronbreakkerwwe @gigidolin_wwe The future is a bright & a safe place with all these folks. #Future
Maverick isn’t the only person who sees big things in the future of these stars, namely Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, who WWE reportedly has ‘high hopes’ for following their SmackDown Dark Match last Friday.
