As Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy brawled outside the ring during their unsanctioned lights-out match, a surprise appeared.
As Cole attempted to drag a steel chair out from beneath the ring, along with the chair slid out Danhausen, pointing at Cole and generally perplexing both opponents before escaping up the ramp.
Shortly after his appearance, AEW President Tony Khan tweeted:

Elsewhere on the Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite, a TNT Championship ladder match to unify the titles kicked off the Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite with a breathtaking match full of wild spots by which Sammy Guevara emerged victorious after battling champion Cody Rhodes.
A promo segment saw CM Punk get assaulted by MJF‘s Pinnacle brethren (FTR, Shawn Spears and Wardlow) as they finalized the date of their face-off for next week in Chicago, Illinois.
