Taz has publicly criticised a dangerous botch that took place on Monday’s (February 14) episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.
During the show, Zack Clayton gave Serpentico a german suplex, which saw Serpentico land directly on the back of his head.
Addressing the concern, Serpentico revealed that he’s okay, tweeting:
“Thanks for the concern, everyone
but
SNAKEMAN is indestructible
(now he’s probably gonna make that a shirt and sell a ton of them)”
Sharing his thoughts on the incident, Taz stated that wrestlers should know what they’re doing when attempting suplexes. Believing the botch was avoidable, Taz replied:
“And it should’ve never happened. People need to know what the hell they’re doing regarding suplexing.”
Clayton has been wrestling on Dark and Dark: Elevation since May 2020. His win over Serpentico on Monday marked his first victory in an AEW ring.
