Raw Tag Team Champion (Matt) Riddle has been angling for a singles match against Brock Lesnar for years now, dating back even before his time in WWE.
Riddle and Lesnar shared their first, very brief, in-ring interaction back at the Elimination Chamber last month, when Brock Lesnar eliminated him from the match with an F5.
Riddle recently spoke to Adam’s Apple, where he reiterated that he is still hoping that he and the WWE Champion lock horns in a singles match at some point.
He said:
“I really want that one-on-one match with Brock that’d be good, but there’s a lot of talent out there. You’ve got the Edges, me and Randy are partners but you never know, we might wrestle one day. There’s a lot.”
Riddle recently captured his second Raw Tag Team Championship title alongside Randy Orton. For a list of all title changes in WWE for 2022 so far, click here.
