Corey Graves has teased his in-ring return for WrestleMania 38, calling out Pat McAfee.
On yesterday’s edition of the Pat McAfee Show, it was revealed that McAfee will wrestle at the April 2-3 event.
McAfee’s opponent hasn’t yet been announced. Prepared to do battle with the former NFL star, Corey Graves tweeted:
“I’ll happily beat @PatMcAfeeShow’s ass”
Graves recently revealed that he has been medically cleared to return to the ring. The former NXT Tag Team Champion last wrestled a full match in 2014, before being forced to step away from the ring.
Believing he’d be able to hold his own inside the squared circle, later tweeted:
Remember…THEY told ME I had to retire.
I didn’t just, like, forget how to fight.
McAfee is expected to face Vince McMahon himself at WrestleMania, following reports that McAfee vs McMahon is internally listed for the Show of Shows.
