As previously reported, former WWE referee Stephon Smith recently appeared on an AEW taping but has now confirmed he is all elite.
Posting to Twitter, Smith wrote:
“#NewProfilePic – In all seriousness. I’m incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of @AEW. Big thanks to @TonyKhan . It’s been an awesome experience and I hope to be a part of their continued success.”
Stephon Smith signed with WWE in October 2019 before being released on August 6, 2021.
