Cassidy hasn’t wrestled since last month’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view. The star picked up a shoulder injury during the Face of the Revolution ladder match. He has still appeared on AEW TV while recovering, notably accompanying Tomohiro Ishii to the ring on last week’s edition of AEW Rampage.
Per PWTorch, AEW moving this taping from Saturday to Sunday was the reason why several AEW names were pulled from various independent events scheduled for May 1. You can read more about the scheduling conflicts right here.
