The card for IMPACT Wrestling’s Under Siege 2022 continues to come together and features some ‘Forbidden Door’ style pairings already.
The ‘Forbidden Door’ has been blown wide open and now we’re getting fully accustomed to seeing cross-promotional dream matches on a regular basis!
Tonight’s (April 28) edition of IMPACT Wrestling saw several new matches announced for the promotion’s next pay-per-view, Under Siege 2022 on May 7, 2022.
In an angle that saw AAA Reina De Reinas Champion Taya Valkyrie interrupted by Deonna Purrazzo, attacking her in the ring ahead of their Championship match at Under Siege.
Elsewhere in the episode, the Briscoe Brothers returned to IMPACT and will challenge Violent by Design for the IMPACT Tag Team Championships at Under Siege 2022.
Finally, Josh Alexander bested Moose in a Rebellion re-match leading to the Walking Weapon finding out that his opponent for Under Siege would be none other than NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii.
Deonna Purrazzo was announced on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite as making her AEW debut on this week’s upcoming episode.
NJPW’s Ishii has also recently featured on AEW, taking on Adam Cole in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament qualifying match which he lost to Cole.
