More details have emerged on former WWE star Mia Yim’s new contract with IMPACT Wrestling, following her return to the company.
During Saturday’s (May 7) Under Siege special, Yim saved AAA Reina De Reina’s Champion from a beatdown at the hands of Deonna Purrazzo. Following her surprise appearance, it was reported that Yim has signed with IMPACT Wrestling.
Fightful Select (subscription required) now reports that Yim signed a six month contract with the promotion, which would take her through Bound for Glory, which traditionally airs in October. The report noted that the two sides aren’t opposed to working on an extension.
Yim wrestled for IMPACT between 2015 and 2017, notably holding the Knockouts Championship in 2016. She left IMPACT in January 2017, before entering the WWE Mae Young Classic in July 2017, and signing with the company in September 2018.
Following her WWE release in November 2021, the HBIC returned to the independent scene at the end of March, wrestling Athena (Ember Moon) at the WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show.
