Former 205 Live star Ariya Daivari worked an AEW taping the night after producing a WWE SmackDown match.
Daivari returned to AEW for Saturday’s (June 11) Dark taping at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, wrestling Kaleb Konly during the first session.
Sean Ross Sapp has pointed out that Daivari was listed as a producer for that Friday’s (June 10) edition of SmackDown. Per Fightful Select (subscription required) Daivari & Abyss produced the Sheamus vs Drew McIntyre Money in the Bank qualifier.
Daivari and Curtis Axel reportedly began WWE producer tryouts in April. The two former WWE performers made cameo TV returns on the May 30 edition of Raw during Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes’ brawl.
Prior to this weekend’s taping, Daivari had wrestled for AEW on an episode of Rampage in November, and during Dark tapings in January, February and March.
You can read spoilers for all of the matches at the June 11 taping right here.
We will continue to provide any updates on Daivari’s status as they become available.
