WWE star Sheamus has revealed that he’s previously had numerous requests to bring back his old entrance music denied.
Drew McIntyre’s entrance at WWE Clash At The Castle began with his popular ‘Broken Dreams’ entrance theme, which McIntyre had used during his previous WWE run.
In an interview with SPORTBible, Sheamus noted that when he returned in 2020, he pitched to have his ‘Written in My Face’ music back, which ultimately didn’t happen.
Sheamus said:
“It’s amazing what music can do. I had so many requests when I came back in 2020 for me to bring back ‘Written in My Face.’
“But it’s just funny, when that music hits the reaction it can have on the crowd.”
Sheamus notably used the ‘Written in My Face’ theme from 2010 to 2015, when he debuted his ‘Hellfire’ theme.
The star unsuccessfully challenged for Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash At The Castle. If Sheamus would’ve won the gold, he would’ve officially been recognized as a Grand Slam Champion, following his previous WWE, US and Tag Team title reigns.
