A new update has emerged regarding a planned VICE documentary about the life of former wrestling promoter and WWE CEO, Vince McMahon.
The documentary will reportedly tell the story of McMahon’s career, as well as the hush money scandal broken by the Wallstreet Journal that led to his resignation from WWE.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
“The Vince McMahon documentary on VICE, called ‘The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon,’ will be airing on 10/18 from 8-10 p.m.”
The Wrestling Observer’s own Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez were both interviewed for the film.
After the news of the Vince McMahon scandal broke in July, it was reported that a planned Netflix documentary on McMahon had been cancelled – but as of latest word, it was NOT cancelled and that project is still in the works and being produced in collaboration with WWE.
