WWE Hall Of Famer Discusses Sammy Guevara AEW Backstage Drama WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has commented on the AEW backstage drama concerning Sammy Guevara.

AEW star Sammy Guevara has been at the center of plenty of controversial over the past few months regarding some backstage altercations with Eddie Kingston and Andrade El Idolo.

Guevara is a graduate of Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling training school and has received praise from the two-time WWE Hall of Famer in the past.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed the recent drama surrounding Sammy Guevara.

He said:

“This kid is on a superstar trajectory. But one thing about being on that trajectory, it could implode — literally, it can implode at the blink of an eye. And then you wonder what the hell happened.”

The new NXT commentator continued on to put the blame of the situation on the nature of wrestling and not on Guevara.

He said:

“It’s business, you got to be smart. And the one thing that I’ve learned along my route, as far as being smart, is keep everybody out of your business. And that means everybody on social media.”

In regards to Sammy’s response to Andrade trying to get himself fired from AEW, Booker said:

“One thing that he must have done right was he didn’t get sent home for the altercation, For me. I’m never going throw the first punch. You could hit me square in the face or at least you could throw it first, I’m ducking up, move out of the way of you.”

As previously noted, a new report has revealed why Sammy Guevara was not sent home along with Andrade following their altercation.
