Former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall has revealed that he sustained a gruesome injury during a WWE training session.
Hall previously held talks with WWE, and began training with tag team the Headbangers to get into in-ring shape.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Hall discussed an injury sustained in one such training session:
“I tried WWE wrestling with a tag team the Headbangers back in 2019. I went in the ring with them and I lasted 20 minutes and I ripped my bicep off the bone!
“That was my first bicep detachment! They were being soft and gentle, they both threw me over, landed on my back and I was like, ‘Ooh, my arm hurts a bit’. I rolled my bicep down!
“That was 20 minutes of doing WWE, so people think you can just walk in and get flipped over? No mate, it doesn’t work like that, you’re gonna get seriously injured doing that s**t. You’ve got to train for months if not years to be even a low level WWE wrestler!”
In the interview, Hall also discusses his love for wrestling, and his fascination with WWE stars like the Big Show and the Undertaker.
Eddie Hall notably faced fellow strongman Hafthor Björnsson in a boxing match in March 2022, losing via unanimous decision.
