The tale of Sasha Banks and Naomi has been a weird one since the pair walked out of the May 16, 2022 episode of Monday Night Raw.
The pair, who at the time were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, walked out ahead of the show, placing their titles on the desk of then-talent relatios head John Laurinaitis, and the two haven’t been seen since.
Sasha and Naomi have appeared in various events outside of the company, with conflicting reports about whether or not they had been released from the company.
Sasha Banks teased that a moment she had been waiting six months for was coming up soon, which many speculated could be the upcoming Survivor Series event amid rumours that her and the company were discussing a potential contract extension.
Well, at tonight’s WWE Crown Jewel event, a major hint that Sasha Banks and Naomi could be on their way back to WWE was spotted before the show even began.
The pair were removed from WWE’s ‘Then Now Forever’ intro shortly after their suspension was announced, but on tonight’s show, the duo were readded to the video.
This has bee taken by many as a hint that the two sides may have come to an agreement on a potential return to the company.
On top of that, Sasha Banks was mentioned by name on commentary prior to Bianca Belair and Bayley’s Last Woman Standing match, with her being named alongside Bianca as the first two black women to main event WrestleMania.
