A former ROH World Champion made his return to IMPACT Wrestling at last night’s television tapings.
IMPACT Wrestling taped upcoming episodes of IMPACT in Pembroke Pines, FL last night (December 9), which featured the return to the promotion.
During the tapings, former ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham made his return to the company.
Gresham appeared on IMPACT Wrestling television as the ROH World Champion following the company’s hiatus following Final Battle 2021.
He last competed for the company on the April 14 episode of IMPACT, defeating Rocky Romero.
Gresham was the ROH World Champion during the Tony Khan buy out of the promotion, losing the title to Claudio Castagnoli at ROH Death Before Dishonor.
Gresham requested his release from the company following the bout.
