AEW’s The Young Bucks have reacted to WWE star Kofi Kingston’s recent comments about a potential dream match.
Speaking with TV Insider, Kingston named Matt & Nick Jackson as the New Day’s dream opponents, stating:
“There are a lot of people. We’ve been wanting to have a match with the Young Bucks for a long time. It’s a special time.”
The Young Bucks seem to also want this dream match to come to fruition. Replying to a news story about Kingston’s comments, the Young Bucks shared a GIF from the Schitts Creek show to Twitter, noting:
“You and me both.”
The New Day and The Elite notably clashed on Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition at E3 2018, prior to the formation of AEW.
Kingston and Xavier Woods defeated Pretty Deadly to win the NXT Tag Team Title at NXT Deadline in December 2022. They will defend their gold at the upcoming Vengeance Day special.
