Report: Vince McMahon ‘Has Input’ On Sami Zayn/Roman Reigns WWE Plans WWE

An update has emerged on Vince McMahon’s creative input on WWE plans regarding Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

The current Bloodline storyline is one of top success stories of the Triple H era, with the narrative surrounding Sami Zayn mostly playing out following Vince McMahon’s WWE departure in July 2022, and Triple H taking over creative as the company’s Chief Content Officer.

With Vince McMahon returning to the WWE board of directors in January as the executive chairman, Paul Levesque recently told WWE talent that he and McMahon may have discussions about creative, but Levesque is the one who makes the final decisions.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon does have some input on the top WWE storyline, specifically whether plans will change for Zayn to win the title at Elimination Chamber tonight.

Discussing plans, Meltzer said:

“It’s Paul Levesque (Triple H) and Vince. Vince does have input into this one. He definitely does. But still, in theory, it’s Paul’s decision.”

Sami Zayn will challenge for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber premium live event.

The winner of this bout will defend the gold against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39, following Rhodes’ Royal Rumble victory last month.
