A top AEW star has pitched for the company to bring in new championship titles.
Saraya made her AEW debut back at AEW Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium back in September, and she has been a prominent feature in the women’s division since.
Saraya recently aligned with Toni Storm as ‘Outsiders’ to the company, with Ruby Soho also aligning with them back at AEW Revolution.
AEW’s women’s division currently has two championships, the Women’s World title as well as the TBS title.
AEW today shared a celebratory graphic, honoring their women’s division for International Women’s Day, but Saraya responded, seemingly having a different idea of how AEW could celebrate the day.
She said:
Perfect way to celebrate would be to bring in Women’s tag titles
AEW has often been criticised for the number of championships featured on the show, with eight titles regularly featured on the show, as well as six Ring of Honor titles.
Saraya came up short in her quest to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship from Jamie Hayter at AEW Revolution, with Hayter pinning Ruby Soho to retain the title.
Soho is set to face off against Skye Blue on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show.
Perfect way to celebrate would be to bring in Women’s tag titles 💪🏻 https://t.co/rQNtV9tFgx
